After 16 teams were eliminated in the group phase, another 16 fell by the wayside in the last 32. Eight more will exit the competition in the round of 16.

The World Cup round of 32 concludes as Colombia face Ghana for the final spot in the last 16. Both teams have made early changes as Colombia's Jhon Cordoba and Marvin Senaya of Ghana were forced off with injury inside the first 13 minutes.

Jhon Arias scores in the opening minutes, and Los Cafeteros control their African opponent the rest of the way for a 1-0 win in sweltering conditions in Kansas City. Colombia will face Switzerland on Tuesday in Vancouver.
